Issues and Controversies:
Issues & Controversies is a great place to start your research. It is designed to give you a detailed summary of the controversies surrounding your topic.
Use the "Search" box to begin if you already know what topic you are using. Or, scroll down the page to browse topics.
Suggestion: Start with a general keyword search on your topic (such as “Internet privacy” or “gun control") Then, scan the results to find the articles that you think will best fit your needs.
OmniFile Full Text Select:
OmniFile will give you further articles once you have picked a topic. It gives you access to the full text of articles from 2,000+ magazines and journals.
When you get your search results, click the title to see a summary of the article, or click “HTML Full Text” or “PDF Full Text” to see the full text. Note that you can click on the subject headings in the summary to find more relevant search results, if needed.
Suggestion: Start with a general keyword search on your topic, and then narrow the results as needed. It is often easier to narrow your results than to try to guess just the right keywords for a search.
